Getting things done

“Consistency is the key,” is what I keep hearing and I am heeding the saying. Constantly working on what I have been learning about the best way to make my presence known and to get my story out. I may be a little crazy taking on most of this work myself, but I do have a little experience in most all of it. I have for the most part, finished the website, created a Facebook page, started a YouTube Channel, and started putting my products that I have been selling on Etsy and on this website. All of these are under the Pearl Dragon Studio name.

Now that I have the hard work done, I can put more effort into artwork and finishing my books. If you have not noticed, please go read the first chapter of Nature’s Blade for free! I will be placing most if not all of my books’ first chapters on the website for you to read. I want you to learn about the characters and see if these are the types of stories you would like to purchase for your growing library or as a present for someone else who would enjoy the books.

The Pearl Dragon series is being written with three books about some of the main characters that later show up in the main novel, The Girl with the Pearl Dragon. These books are in no particular order but some information in these books will be mentioned in the novel and to comprehend the whole story being referenced, you will need to read all of the books. The three pre-story books are short story books that are spoken in the words of the character of the book. The Pearl Dragon novels will be written as Omniscient Third-Person Point of View. Just keep in mind that these stories are in the first stage of creation, and I am not speed writing these because I want them to be an enjoyable read for all who have one in their hand, relaxing, and taking it all in. My hope is that people will be transported into a fantastic fantasy realm of dragons and other enchanted creatures.

Start of a new adventure

Today I started this website to chronical my journey into a new adventure. My midlife crisis is not going out to buy a new sports car but instead to start a new endeavor into something that puts many into disbelief and if it wasn’t for spell checker and many other tools available for writers, this would probably not have happened. I have many stories to tell, and I decided better late than to wait till I’m 60. So far, I have the Pearl Dragon Studio website, The Pearl Dragon Studio YouTube, & the Pearl Dragon Studio Face Book space. I have a logbook published, a short original bedtime story video on YouTube, and a short story book ready to publish as soon as I get artwork made for it. My journey has started, and I am excited to share my stories to the world!
