New Chapters & Blooming Projects: A Summer Catch-Up from Pearl Dragon Studio
Yes, it’s been a while since my last post, but the silence hasn’t meant idleness. Most days I’m juggling projects on every front, and the blog simply slipped to the sidelines for longer than I planned.
Garden & Home Projects
Work on the food forest and garden continues—just at a gentler pace while Florida’s summer heat tests human endurance. In the shade, I’m turning the back porch into a true four-season retreat, tackling it one small step at a time.
Writing & Publishing Updates
The bigger news lives on the creative side. I wrapped the artwork for my first children’s environmental adventure, then walked the entire publishing gauntlet to learn each step firsthand. Now that I’ve survived the process once, I feel confident rolling out the next titles.
The debut book is available as an e-book through major online retailers—or directly from my site (e-book and audiobook) at a lower price since there’s no middle-man.
I’ve also opened a Free Reads section where you can enjoy short stories at no cost.
Draft chapters of the Pearl Dragon series are posted for an early peek—remember, they’re previews, not final edits.
On top of that, a new dark-fantasy novella series is in motion. If all goes well, the first book’s final draft will reach stores by late summer.
